Value Recovery Services

PC Asset Recovery offers you two options to reclaim value from your used equipment:

Net profit from the purchase or resale of your computer equipment will be paid to you via check or credit within ninety (90) days, or proceeds can be directly applied against the vendor invoice for procurement of new IT equipment.

PC Asset Recovery will purchase outright used equipment that has marketable value. The price you receive is determined by the Current Pricing Guide. We update the pricing guide every month to reflect fair market values, so you can be sure you are getting maximum financial return for your surplus IT equipment.

Revenue Share
PC Asset Recovery will assess the marketability of each IT asset and, after restoring the equipment to optimal configuration and condition for resale, will share with you the net remarketing proceeds. PC Recycling Services

If your computer equipment has no resale value, PC Asset Recovery will manage the recovery and recycling process in compliance with your corporate policies, EPA guidelines and all federal, state and local regulations – at no additional cost. Only logistics fees apply.

We de-manufacture your computer equipment and recycle all materials that can be recycled. The rest is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner, and in accordance with our zero landfill, no overseas dumping policy.

As a standard practice, we remove all asset tags and company identifiers, verify computer hard drive data erasure to DoD standards and provide a Certificate of Disposal indemnifying you against environmental liabilities for the disposal of electronic waste.

Data Erasure Services

Removing consumer data and proprietary information from computer equipment and mobile devices is a must in today’s hyper-sensitive age of data security. PC Asset Recovery employs data erasure and verification procedures to ensure that all sensitive data and licensed software is reliably destroyed in compliance with privacy regulations and corporate security policies.

Our overwrite technology reliably erases hard drives to Department of Defense (DoD) 5220-22-M three-pass standards, rendering data virtually irretrievable. Automated processes verify that all sectors of every drive have been successfully overwritten, while physical verification ensures that inoperable drives, or drives with bad sectors that cannot be overwritten, are physically destroyed. Upon completion, a Certificate of Destruction is generated confirming that all data has been destroyed and verified.

For companies requiring higher levels of data security, we offer additional hard drive overwrite procedures as well as on-site services for disk erasure, data locking and hard drive removal.

Reporting Services

Accurate and timely reporting provides the basis for effective hardware and software asset management. PC Asset Recovery reports deliver financial and chain-of-custody accountability to properly decommission retired assets, and ensure that your IT asset disposition practices comply with all corporate policies, legal requirements and regulatory mandates. Reports include:

• Settlement Report: verifies the tracking number, internal configuration, cosmetic condition and services performed on each item as well as the net settlement value.
• Certificate of Destruction: verifies for serialized data-bearing assets that each hard drive has been overwritten or, where inoperable, physically destroyed.
• Certificate of Disposal: verifies the detailed list of serialized assets that have been recycled in accordance with EPA e-waste disposal and regulatory standards.
